Spelling Mansion Finally Sells

Posted on June 15, 2011

The title of the highest priced home in the United States has belonged to the Spelling mansion, a.k.a. The Manor, for over two years.  However, 22-year-old U.K. heiress Petra Ecclestone has bought the Los Angeles home.  The selling price is unknown, although the listed price was $150 million. Petra Ecclestone also owns a six story luxury home in London, for which she paid $90.9 million.  The heiress will be spending her time in both London and Los Angeles soon after her wedding to entrepreneur James Stunt in August. Her father is Bernie Ecclestone, the British Formula One racing boss and billionaire. Ms. Ecclestone's new purchase will make a great addition to her realty portfolio.  To see similar homes to the heiress', visit http://www.jademillsestates.com/.
